Job Description
Berkeley Eye Center's Pearland location is currently seeking an experienced Optometric Assistant for full-time position as Optometric Scribe. This is a Monday-Friday position with no late hours or weekends. The person in this position will be responsible for assisting the Optometrist by documenting the details of the exam in the EMR system. Eye care experience required but training can be provided to complete the skill set. A good fit for this position is a person who has 2+ years experience in a vision care practice and is familiar with "vision care " terminology. Outgoing, engaging personality, able to multi-task, change priorities as need arises. This is a great opportunity for someone to move their vision care career from optometry to ophthalmology.
