  • $15 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Health insurance verification via paper documents Visual acuity testing Ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment Managing patient records Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Optometric/Ophthalmic assistant to assist with preliminary testing and front desk duties.
We are an established practice who's mission is to provide outstanding patient service. Ideal candidate would demonstrate great patient care, be able to perform front desk duties and have some or all of the following skills:
  • Verification of insurance and ability to explain plan coverages to patients
  • Use of basic pre-testing equipment
  • Verify glasses parameters
  • Instruction of insertion and removal of contact lenses
  • Visual fields and other Optometry equipment
  • Fundus photography If we do not find a candidate who has all the skills, we will be glad to train the one who shows the most potential.
