Clinic Manager Key Responsibilities:
Comply with state and national guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following established standards and legal regulations. Open and close exam lanes daily; ensure equipment is sanitized and powered down appropriately. Perform patient workups, pre-exam testing, specialized testing, refractions, and other patient services as requested. Accurately record all information in the EMR system according to physician requirements. Assist in daily office cleaning and maintenance tasks. Collaborate across departments and assist other teams when needed. Maintain professional appearance and outstanding interpersonal skills. Meet physical demands including standing/walking for long periods and assisting wheelchair-bound patients. Other duties as assigned based on business needs. Qualifications High school diploma required. Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician or medical assistant preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in computer systems; minimum 45 WPM typing speed. Ability to thrive in a structured, diverse workplace. Empathy towards patients and co-workers. Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability. Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Demonstrated respect and professionalism with patients and colleagues. Leadership and mentorship skills for training new staff. Travel Requirements Travel to satellite offices may be required. Must maintain a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary to accommodate clinic duties).
