This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly skilled ophthalmologists, make a meaningful impact on patients' lives, and grow within a thriving medical practice.
Position Overview:
The Ophthalmic Technician plays a vital role in patient care by performing preliminary work-ups and diagnostic testing. This position involves working closely with both patients and physicians during exams to ensure efficient, high-quality care and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake, including medical history and preliminary testing Conduct diagnostic tests and assist with clinical procedures Support physicians during eye examinations Prepare exam rooms and equipment Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Deliver excellent patient care with professionalism and compassion
Qualifications:
Self-motivated and highly detail-oriented Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and grow within the practice Previous ophthalmic or medical experience preferred, but not required
