Optical Lab Technician Premier Vision - 4.3 West Valley City, UT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $24 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Machine operation Maintenance High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Overview Premier Vision Laboratory is a 19-year-old, Utah-based wholesale manufacturing facility with a vital mission: helping people see better in this world. We produce high-quality, precision prescription lenses for eye doctors and their patients throughout the Mountain West. In our lab, precision and attention to detail are critical. Because we create medical devices that directly impact a patient's quality of life, we need team members who take immense pride in "getting it right the first time." While prior optical experience is welcome, it is not required—we are looking for a mechanically inclined team player with a positive attitude who is eager to learn a specialized trade.
Schedule & Flexibility Work Week:
Monday through Friday.
Hours:
20-40 hours per week.
Flexibility:
While typical hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, we offer flexibility with start and end times to accommodate our employees' schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities Equipment Operation:
Operate automated machinery to fabricate, edge, and finish high-quality prescription lenses.
Extreme Precision:
Perform detailed laboratory procedures where accuracy is paramount to ensuring the perfect prescription for the patient.
Cross-Training:
Master multiple stations within the lab; we value employees who are willing to learn and operate every piece of equipment in the manufacturing process.
Quality Control:
Conduct rigorous inspections on finished products to meet strict industry standards and our own high-quality benchmarks.
Lab Maintenance:
Help maintain a clean, organized, and calibrated laboratory environment.

Mechanically Inclined:
You are comfortable working with machinery and enjoy hands-on, technical work.
Physically Capable:
This is an active manufacturing role. You must be able to stand for long periods of time and handle small, precision components.

You are a consistent worker looking for a stable, long-term position with an established company. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
