Job Description
Part time or Full time position available for an optometric technician at a busy practice next to an optical retailer. Front desk responsibilities include greeting patients as they come into the office and ask about their eyecare needs, verify insurance benefits, collect copays, schedule appointments, check-in and check-out patients. Technician responsibilities include performing all prescreening tests before the doctor see's the patient and entering all information into our EHR system. All employees are trained to perform front desk and technician duties. Since the candidate will be working with patients directly, a friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual is ideal for this position. Please note that we do not offer seasonal work opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience is considered a plus, but we will train candidates with no experience if they show promising work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Competitive pay/benefits package (heath insurance re-imbursement, 401k..)
- Benefits vary for full time and part time employees.
- Compensation will depend on experience.

We are located next to a major optical retailer, but we do not fabricate or sell eye glasses.Job Types:
