Job Description
Martinsville Eyecare Center, a local, privately owned optometry practice, is seeking a full time Optometric Technician/ Scribe. Exceptional customer service skills, computer knowledge and multitasking skills required. Responsibilities of the Optometric Technician/ Scribe position include:
- Obtaining medical history and medication list
- Discovering and recording chief complaint and the reason for visit
- Maintaining exam and pretest rooms
- Performing manual and automated patient tests
- Appointment scheduling
- Greeting patients
- Recording findings into electronic health records while working with the doctors in exam room.
- Assisting in other office centers when needed Excellent hours and work environment with competitive compensation.
