Experienced Optometric Technician Midlothian, VA 23113 From $16.50 an hour - Full-time From $16.50 an hour - Full-time Real-worldIf you know SITA Faster (not Fast), scleral profilometry, and OCT angiography, we're your new employer. We are a busy private practice seeking a skilled and reliable Optometric or Ophthalmic Technician to act as the clinical anchor of our team.

Role Looks Like Clinical Care:
Perform comprehensive testing, specialized imaging, and patient workups.
Team Leadership:
Guide and mentor our junior clinical support staff, keeping everyone aligned on a great patient experience.
Workflow Management:
Keep the clinic side running efficiently, solving scheduling or flow bottlenecks on the fly. What You Bring to the
Table Proven Experience:
2+ years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced optometry or ophthalmology setting. You know the instruments inside and out.
Leadership Mindset:
You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others level up. You're a fast decision-maker who doesn't get bogged down.
Credentials:
Real world experience is more important to us, but CPOA, COT, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.

The Details Pay:
$16.50 / hour starting. The 90-
Day Mark:
Once you've mastered our workflow and are successfully leading the clinic floor, we look to bump you to $17.50 / hour. From there, raises continue as you raise the bar.
