Job Description

Description Northwest Eyes is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice. We are searching for an Ophthalmic Technician Team Supervisor to add to our team. The main function of this position is to lead a partnership team of providers and clinical team members. This role will be to oversee the daily functions of a multi-provider team and maintain a cohesive approach to patient, staff, and provider support. The Technician Team Supervisor will establish a rapport with patients and promote the services of our company while maintaining excellent care and customer service. Responsibilities :
Coordinate the flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy, including regular staff meetings, recognition, and rewards, and changes in protocols, forms, scheduling, processes, and procedures Interviews, orients, and trains employees Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees Addresses complaints and resolves problems Be the point person for our MD's and OD's teams and maintain an organized team structure Ability to complete or delegate tasks and triages to the appropriate doctor/tech to coordinate Mentor technicians / provide feedback to improve skill sets and clinic flow Communicate expectations and priorities for the day with the team May require travel to additional Company sites to support the provider team Monitor and assist in refining provider templates to maximize the efficiency and quality of patient care Requirements Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office or G-Suite Ability to maintain open communication with doctors and staff. Demonstrated leadership performance Consistently work well with others in a mentoring and training role, as well as being a supportive team member. Ability to de-escalate problems and issues from patients, team members, and providers. Demonstrate excellence in communication skills and the ability to convey ideas and information, verbally and in writing Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving are required to perform this role.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. 1-year supervisory experience, medical field preferred
