Ophthalmology Certified Ophthalmic Technician Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and assisting in providing exceptional service to our patients.Responsibilities:
- Assist the optometrist with patient care, including performing preliminary tests and measurements
- Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and intraocular pressure
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Preform specialized testing for retinal photography and Optical coherence imaging
