Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This person will work with advanced eye care technology, lensometry, contact lens training, vision insurance billing and eyewear adjustment. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting patients and visitors. Pre-testing patients, taking patient history, working one on one with the doctors. Taking visual fields, retinal photos, icare tonometry, and OCT images. Assist with Dry Eye specialized treatments- Lipiflow, Inflammadry, Radiofrequency, BBL Assist with aesthetic treatments- Tempsure Envi and BBL Use of RevolutionEHR electronic records. Reading and understanding medical and vision insurance benefits. Helping answer phones. Helping in optical. Frame adjustment and repair. Data input. Participation in office training programs for career and self-development.
An ideal candidate must possess:
An outgoing personality with a caring nature towards helping others. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both as a team member and independently. Must be good with computers and technology. Being detail oriented with the ability to multi-task is a must, as well as wanting to continue to learn and develop as an optometric technician. Experience not required as we are happy to train for the right individual. Required- High school diploma CPOA certification or eager to become CPOA certified Computer skills with Mac computers are a must. •Cover letter, resume and references.

Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
