You must have a strong work ethic and truly enjoy working with patients/customers. Your position will be focused on working with the office manager as a team to provide superior customer service, engage in a positive work environment, and assist in building the practice. The right candidate will be expected to learn the policies, procedures, and create an energetic atmosphere while assisting patients. You must be available to work M-F. Our office is closed on the weekends.QUALIFICATIONS
- ABO/NCLE certified preferred but not required
- 3 years optical experience
- experience with billing major insurance companies, such as VSP, EyeMed, Avesis, and Spectera
- Ability to work well with coworkers and Optometrist
- Knowledge of current optical lenses and frame adjustments
- Understanding of vision and medical insurances
- Knowledge of CompuLink EyeCare Advantage, preferred but not required, and computer skills
- Ability to teach patients how to insert, remove, and care for contact lenses properly
- Strong communication skills
