Job Description
The Focal Point is a very well established, high end optical practice in a wonderful neighborhood in South East Berkeley, near the Claremont Hotel. We carry an extensive selection of handmade premium quality eyewear, and provide personal, professional service. We feature a fabulous inventory featuring collections from Lindberg, Jacques Marie Mage, Barton Perreria, Anne et Valentin, Theo, Garrett Leight , Cutler and Gross, Blake Kuwahara, to name a few. We work with all major lens manufacturers, and pride ourselves on recommending the right lens, based on patient lifestyle and experience. We are looking for an optician with at least 2 years of experience who wants to grow with our committed and competent team of highly skilled staff. We prefer previous experience in high end optical. Salary DOE. The responsibilities involve frame and lens selection, adjustments, minor repairs, checking in lenses, and providing the best possible customer service experience. We're happy to provide the knowledge - you supply the desire to learn. We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 9:30-6:00PM. (closed Sunday and Monday)
