Ocean Park Optometry is seeking an exceptional Dispensing Optician to join our highly respected, technology driven private practice in Santa Monica, California. We are looking for a polished, service oriented professional who thrives in a premium patient care environment and is passionate about eyewear, advanced eye care, and delivering an elevated patient experience. Our modern practice combines state of the art diagnostic technology, specialty eye care services, and curated luxury eyewear with a warm, relationship focused approach. IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experienced in high level customer service and premium patient experiences Strong optical sales skills with confidence presenting premium lens options and luxury eyewear Professional appearance, polished communication, and positive demeanor Team player who contributes to a supportive and high performance culture Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment Passionate about fashion, optics, technology, and helping patients look and see their best Comfortable working with advanced technology and specialty services Ability to build trust and long term relationships with patients

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist patients with frame styling and lens recommendations tailored to their lifestyle and visual needs Present and educate patients on premium lens technology and specialty products Deliver concierge level service from start to finish Perform optical dispensing, adjustments, repairs, troubleshooting, and frame fittings Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care Support practice growth through professionalism, communication, and strong patient engagement

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Optical experience required ABO certification preferred but not required Experience with luxury eyewear and premium lens products strongly preferred Experience in private practice or medical/professional environment preferred
