Full Job Description Company:

Heritage Valley Eye Care Location:

Santa Paula & Fillmore, CA (must be available to work at both locations)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Occasional half-day weekend work.

Compensation & Benefits:

$16.50 - $26 hourly based on experience (40 hours per week) Paid Time Off (PTO)

Serving the communities of Santa Paula and Fillmore, our team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. We combine advanced diagnostic technology with a patient-first approach to deliver exceptional vision care for individuals and families. We are seeking a friendly, motivated Optician to join our growing team and help provide an outstanding patient experience across both office locations.

Optician Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner Help patients select frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences Take accurate optical measurements, including pupillary distance and segment height Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products Adjust, fit, and repair eyewear as needed Process eyewear orders and coordinate with optical labs Support doctors and staff with patient flow and overall office operations Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused optical environment

Optician Qualifications:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn and grow Prior optical or retail experience preferred, but not required Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at both Santa Paula and Fillmore locations ABO certification is a plus, but not required
