Job Description
We are looking for someone to join our team as an optical assistant/optician. This role will include speaking with patients to learn about their lifestyle and needs, taking facial measurements, and helping them pick out eyewear. You will also help educate patients on lens options and treatments available , explain pricing and insurance coverage. Our perfect candidate is reliable, has exceptional customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and grow. Successful candidates will be required to work in both Yucaipa and Banning locations as needed. Responsibilities Help patients with eyewear selection and take measurements Place orders and verify prescriptions Dispense, adjust and repair glasses Explain pricing, insurance, and payment options. Previous experience is a bonus but we are willing to train the right candidate. Pay will be dependent on experience. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
