We pride ourselves on combining advanced technology with compassionate care. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optician to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Optician will play a key role in helping patients select eyewear that fits their lifestyle, preferences, and vision needs. This individual will ensure proper lens fitting, provide education on lens options, and deliver excellent service throughout the eyewear selection and fitting process.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, style, fit, and budget Take precise measurements to ensure proper lens fitting and adjustments Place and track orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses Verify prescriptions and ensure quality control of finished eyewear Adjust and repair eyewear as needed Educate patients on lens care, eyewear maintenance, and available product options Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and accessories Provide an outstanding patient experience, ensuring comfort and satisfaction
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of lens types, coatings, and optical products Excellent communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Previous experience in an ophthalmology or optometry setting Spanish preferred

Physical Demands:
The physical demands of the position are typical of those found in a traditional office environment. Employees will need to be mobile and move quickly throughout the office. They will need to be able to type and data enter information info computer systems. Employee will need to be able to alternate between sitting and standing at a desk for 8 to 9 hours in a typical workday.
