This is a great opportunity for someone who is professional, sales-oriented, organized, and excited to help build a strong customer experience from the ground up. About Clara Optical Clara Optical is a fast-growing optical retail chain based in Florida with 5 locations and 15 more to come in 2026. We offer quality eyewear at very affordable prices and eye exams (telemedicine). Responsibilities Help customers choose frames and lenses based on their prescription, needs, face shape, and lifestyle Take accurate measurements, including PD, segment height, and other required optical measurements Adjust, fit, and troubleshoot eyewear Explain lens options, coatings, transitions, progressive lenses, and protection plans in a simple and customer-friendly way Review orders for accuracy before submission Support customers after the sale, including adjustments, remakes, warranty questions, and product education Ensure compliance with Florida optical rules and company procedures Help train and support non-licensed optical sales team members Work closely with management to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational processes related to optical dispensing Requirements Active Florida Licensed Optician license Experience in optical retail, eyewear sales, and dispensing Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, measurements, adjustments, and optical troubleshooting Bilingual English/Spanish strongly required Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to educate and guide customers Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable using basic technology and order systems Experience training optical sales associates Ability to travel to other locations Compensation & Benefits $25-$33/hour based on experience Performance bonus opportunity Growth opportunity as the company expands Supportive, entrepreneurial work environment Unique opportunity to help build a new optical brand in
