Optical Sales Associate- Licensed Optician Greatly Preferred

The overall mission of the Eyewear Consultant it to be an outgoing and friendly individual who loves style, and loves to help people find their perfect eyeglass frame.

Duties would include:

• Greets all patients and customers as they enter the store
• Answer phones to help customer by booking appointments
• Assisting patients with the ordering of their contact lenses
• Looking up patients Managed Vision Care or insurance information and filing claims for them.
• Utilize optical prescription in conjunction with the patient's visual requirements.
• Recommend specific lenses, and lens coatings to suit patient needs.
• Assist patients in the selection of frames, and coordinate frames to prescription and patient needs.
• Perform appropriate optical related measurements.
• Ensure a quality patient experience through correct pricing, POS entry, and realistic delivery time quotes.
• Performs basic housekeeping duties; clean and organize frame cases, vacuum, dust, polish, organize magazine rack, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by Store Manager

Skills Needed:

• Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed patient expectations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
• Ability to use simple math and have pricing knowledge to deliver accurate pricing
• Experience and proven results with a retail or customer service establishment.

Pay:

$15.00 - $34.00 per hour
