Our team combines modern technology, clinical expertise, and excellent service to help each patient feel cared for from the moment they walk in. We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. Position Summary The Optician will be an important part of the patient experience by guiding patients through the eyewear selection process and helping them choose frames, lenses, and products that meet their prescription needs, lifestyle, comfort, and personal style. This role requires strong optical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Help patients choose frames and lenses that fit their prescription, face shape, lifestyle, preferences, and budget Take accurate optical measurements for lens fitting, frame adjustments, and eyewear orders Process, place, and monitor orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses Review prescriptions and inspect completed eyewear for accuracy and quality Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and minor eyewear maintenance as needed Explain lens options, coatings, upgrades, product features, and proper eyewear care to patients Assist with maintaining frame, lens, and accessory inventory Provide a positive and professional patient experience from selection through final fitting Work closely with the clinical and front desk teams to support smooth office operations Qualifications Prior experience working as an optician Strong understanding of lenses, coatings, frames, and optical products Excellent communication and patient service skills Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Ability to multitask in a busy office environment Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude Spanish-speaking preferred What We Offer Competitive pay with a lucrative sales commission Paid time off Health and dental insurance Training and continued professional development Supportive team environment with room for growth Schedule Expected hours are approximately 40 hours per week. Some Saturday half days are required. Physical Requirements This position involves the normal physical demands of working in a medical office setting. The employee must be able to move throughout the office, assist patients, use phones and computer systems, enter information accurately, and alternate between sitting and standing during an 8- to 9-hour workday.
