Optician 3225 Williams Parkway SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 From $20 an hour - Full-time From $20 an hour - Full-time Our opticians guide our patients through frame and lens selection to complete their eyewear purchases. Duties include assisting patients in selecting eyewear appropriate for their prescription and visual needs. Opticians take several measurements which must be measured precisely to ensure the best product for our patients. They educate the patients about their insurance benefits and file charges to insurance companies. Opticians adjust and repair eyewear, and teach patients about appropriate contact lens insertion, removal, and care of lenses. Previous experience required.
