- Full-time We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Contact Lens Specialist to join our team.

Paid Holidays Tenure Bonuses Profit Sharing Continuing Education Opportunities Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required NCLE certification preferred Previous optometric experience preferred Prior medical office experience preferred Pre-Employment Requirements Background check Pre-employment drug screening Employment is contingent upon successful completion of both. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including measuring, fitting, and evaluating contact lenses Educate patients on contact lens options and guide them in selecting the best solution for their vision and lifestyle Teach proper insertion, removal, and care of contact lenses Accurately review and interpret medical chart notes to support patient care decisions Maintain compliance with HIPAA and ensure proper handling of protected health information Schedule patient appointments, including fittings, follow-ups, and routine visits Manage contact lens inventory, including ordering, processing invoices, scanning documentation, and handling returns Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of all contact lens equipment Collaborate with external labs to order and refine contact lens prescriptions Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of optics and contact lens principles Exceptional patient care and customer service skills Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written), with strong active listening abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation and processesSimilar jobs in Coeur d'Alene, ID
