Role:
Join Family Eye Care of Woodstock and Lake Geneva as an Optical Office Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional eye care services. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your customer service skills will shine while helping patients with their optical needs.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate records in the system. Provide guidance on eyewear selection and fitting. Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries. Maintain inventory of optical products and supplies. Ensure a clean and organized office environment. Assist in the training of new staff members. Collaborate with the eye care team to enhance patient experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; experience in an optical setting preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of optical products and services is a plus. Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems. Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
