The Contact Lens Coordinator plays a vital role in helping patients achieve the best possible vision while ensuring a seamless and personalized contact lens experience. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all contact lens-related needs, including patient education, annual supply sales, contact lens ordering, inventory management, and follow-up communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and passionate about helping patients understand and maximize the benefits of their contact lens options. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient throughout their contact lens journey. Educate patients on contact lens options, annual supply benefits, rebates, and manufacturer promotions. Assist patients with insertion and removal training when needed. Follow up with patients regarding contact lens orders, arrivals, and outstanding balances. Proactively communicate with patients regarding annual supply opportunities and prescription expiration dates. Contact Lens Sales & Revenue Growth Present annual supply options confidently and effectively. Promote manufacturer rebates and practice savings programs. Help patients understand the convenience, health benefits, and cost savings associated with annual supplies. Support practice goals related to annual supply capture rate and contact lens revenue. Identify opportunities to improve patient retention and reorder compliance. Order Management Process and track contact lens orders accurately and efficiently. Verify prescription information prior to ordering. Coordinate direct-to-patient shipping when available. Resolve order discrepancies and communicate with vendors regarding issues or delays. Maintain accurate records within RevolutionEHR and other ordering platforms. Inventory & Vendor Management Monitor contact lens inventory levels and reorder stock as needed. Manage trial lens inventory and organization. Maintain relationships with contact lens manufacturers and representatives. Stay informed on new products, rebates, and industry trends.
