We are looking for an energetic, patient-focused Optical Sales Specialist to join our team and help create an exceptional optical experience for every patient who walks through our doors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys styling, relationship-building, and delivering outstanding customer service while helping patients find eyewear solutions that fit both their lifestyle and vision needs. Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens enhancements based on lifestyle, prescription needs, and personal style Provide exceptional customer service throughout the optical experience Educate patients on lens options, coatings, specialty products, and pricing Recommend additional eyewear solutions including sunglasses, computer lenses, and specialty products when appropriate Support optical sales goals while maintaining a patient-first approach Manage frame inventory, merchandising, and overall optical presentation Accurately process orders and coordinate with optical labs to ensure timely delivery Troubleshoot and adjust eyewear as needed to ensure patient satisfaction Work collaboratively with doctors and clinical staff to create a seamless patient experience Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date on frame lines, lens technology, and optical trends Qualifications Previous experience in optical, retail sales, luxury retail, or customer service preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for fashion, styling, and helping patients feel confident in their eyewear Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable discussing pricing and recommending premium products when appropriate Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed Optical experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person What We Offer Competitive pay structure Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive, team-oriented culture Ongoing training and development Employee discounts on eyewear and services Opportunity to work in a modern, growth-focused practice that prioritizes innovation and patient care
