.. warm walls, string lights, a record player on the counter, and hundreds of curated frames that each have a reason to exist. We previously won Best of Boston. Under new ownership, we intend to win it again. We carry a 100% five-star Google rating across 90+ reviews. Not because we try to be perfect, but because we're genuinely good at this and we love our customers. That's the standard. It's yours to carry forward. This is a legacy role. The previous optician built something real
- a reputation, a following, a feeling that people write reviews about. We're looking for someone to honor that and grow it. Not a caretaker. A successor. About the Role This position combines full dispensing optician responsibilities with day-to-day operational leadership of the shop. You'll be the new face of spectacle
- the person customers ask for by name, return to year after year, and send their friends to.
If you want to build a reputation in a city, with a real clientele, in a place that actually has a soul, this is that opportunity. One important note on insurance : spectacle does not accept vision insurance. That's a feature, not a gap. No billing, no authorizations, no fighting with plans. You focus entirely on the patient and the frame
- the way this work is supposed to feel.

- whether that's fashion, music, design, film, vintage, or something entirely your own. Quirky interests are a plus, not a liability Warm, curious, and naturally good with people
