Optician / Frame Consultant [Will Train!] Bay Eye Center is a leading eye care center located in Mansfield, Massachusetts, renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional vision care services to patients. We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Optician / Frame Consultant to join our dedicated team and help us provide outstanding eye care to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist patients in choosing appropriate eyewear: Welcome and engage with patients to understand their requirements and preferences. Offer professional advice and guidance on frame selection, lens options, and various eyewear accessories based on their optical needs and style preferences. 2.
Conduct comprehensive vision measurements:
Utilize advanced optical tools, equipment, and techniques to accurately measure patients' prescription requirements for eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids. Ensure precise measurements to enable the production of customized eyewear. 3.
Perform eyewear fittings and adjustments:
Professionally fit and adjust eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses to ensure optimal vision clarity and comfort for patients. Evaluate the fit, alignment, and overall functionality of eyewear, making necessary adjustments or modifications as needed. 4.
Provide outstanding customer service:
Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for patients by offering exceptional customer service throughout their eyewear selection and fitting process. Understand and address any concerns or issues raised by patients, ensuring their complete satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships. 5.
Maintain accurate patient records:
Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, including prescription details, measurements, and any eyewear recommendations or fittings provided. Utilize practice management software to manage patient records efficiently. 6. Stay updated with industry trends and products: Continuously enhance knowledge of the latest industry advancements, eyewear styles, lens technologies, and other optical products. Stay informed about innovative optical tools and technologies to provide the best recommendations to patients. 7.
Collaborate with the team:
Work closely with our team of Optometrists and other opticians to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of eye care services. Communicate effectively to relay patient information, special requirements, and any concerns regarding optical products.
Requirements:
1.
Experience :
Candidates should have prior experience in the Optical Sales industry. We will train if no experience! 2.
Strong technical skills:
Demonstrate proficiency in using advanced optical tools and equipment for precise measurements, eyewear fittings, and adjustments. 3.
Customer-oriented approach:
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Patient-centered focus and attentiveness to individual needs are essential. 4.
Attention to detail:
Display meticulous attention to detail in performing measurements, fittings, and maintaining precise patient records. Ensure accuracy and quality in all optical tasks. 5.
Team player:
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the overall functioning of the eye care center. 6.
Industry knowledge:
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in optical technology, lens products, and fashionable eyewear trends.
