We offer a carefully curated selection of independent and luxury eyewear collections and are seeking a motivated Optician to join our growing team. Position Overview The Optician is responsible for helping patients select eyewear that meets their visual needs, lifestyle, and personal style while ensuring the highest level of service and prescription accuracy. This role combines technical optical expertise with luxury retail sales and relationship building. Responsibilities Assist patients with frame selection and personalized eyewear styling. Recommend lens options, coatings, and technologies based on individual needs. Accurately interpret and process ophthalmic prescriptions. Take precise measurements for single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. Adjust, fit, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear. Verify completed eyewear orders for prescription and quality accuracy. Provide exceptional patient service throughout the entire eyewear experience. Follow up with patients regarding eyewear orders and satisfaction. Maintain optical displays and assist with inventory management. Support practice sales goals through consultative selling and product education. Qualifications Previous optical experience preferred. ABO certification is a plus but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Passion for fashion, eyewear, and customer service. Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
