THE ROLE

This is a full-time Eyewear Experience Expert position.

It blends two things:

creating an exceptional front-of-house experience for every guest, and gradually learning the optical side so you become a true partner in the full guest journey. Day to day, you will be:

• Being the warm, welcoming presence guests encounter the moment they walk in or call
• Managing all guest communication
• phone, email, and text
• in a way that feels personal and on-brand
• Scheduling appointments, checking guests in, sending new guest welcome emails, and following up after visits
• Keeping the office organized, visually right, and running smoothly
• Creating and processing invoices and payments through our EHR system
• Learning to verify insurance and eventually quote lenses, frames, and contact lenses
• Learning to adjust and fit frames, from basic adjustments to more involved fitting work
• Growing into our guest eyewear styling consultations over time

HERE'S WHAT YOUR FIRST SIX MONTHS LOOK LIKE

We are completely transparent about what you are walking into. This role has a clear arc and we will be with you every step of the way. Months 1-3: Own the front of house. Your first three months are about becoming the heartbeat of our front desk. You will learn our EHR system, our guest communication style, how to prep charts, verify insurance, create invoices, and keep the office feeling the way it should. By the end of month three, the front of house runs because of you. Months 4-6: Add the optical layer. Once the front of house is dialed in, we build on it. You will learn to adjust and fit frames, quote eyewear, assist in and eventually help lead styling consultations, and become a true partner in the full guest experience. By the end of month six, you are not just supporting the practice
