Optician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail oriented, and experienced in helping patients select eyewear that fits their needs and personal style.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with frame selection
• Perform accurate measurements PD, Seg height, OC height Etc.
• Educate patients on lens features and benefits
• Process patient orders
• Adjust, repair, and fit eyewear
• Provide excellent customer service throughout visit
• Organize workspace, keep clean, and free of clutter
• Take patient hand off from doctor
• Perform Optician assigned individual tasks
• Training patients on completing insertion and removal classes
• Submit various vision insurance claims for eyeglasses and contacts

Qualifications:

• Previous optician experience required
• Knowledge of insurance, medical and vision preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Great communication skills
