Job Description
Brevier Optical is an independent eye clinic and optical in Excelsior, MN. Our values focus on providing exceptional care in a warm and friendly environment. We are looking for a full-time (30+ hours/week) optician who LOVES working with people and is detail oriented. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday with NO Saturdays. The ideal candidate has experience in an optical setting or excellent retail/sales experience, is outgoing, has exceptional customer service skills, knowledge of premium ophthalmic products, has good fashion sense, and is able to confidently help style frames for our patients. Bonus points if you are ABO certified (or want help working towards it)! We are a small office so the willingness to cross-train and help with receptionist & technician duties as well is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Aiding patients with frame selection
- Educating patients about premium lens options and materials
- Helping with inventory and frame boards
- Submitting glasses and contact lens orders
- Troubleshooting, and adjusting frames
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Scheduling and receptionist duties
