Two clinic locations (must be able to travel between both as needed) About Us We are a patient-focused optometry practice dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care and personalized service. With two convenient locations, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment and helping patients find the best vision solutions for their needs. Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Optician to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting patients with selecting eyewear, ensuring proper lens fittings, and providing excellent customer service while supporting operations across both clinic locations. Key Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences Interpret prescriptions and ensure accurate order processing Take precise measurements (PD, segment height, etc.) Adjust, fit, and repair eyeglasses as needed Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care Manage and track eyewear orders and inventory Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical area Provide support to front desk and clinical team as needed Travel between both clinic locations as required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous optician or optical sales experience preferred ABO certification is a plus but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Reliable transportation to travel between locations Benefits Vacation and paid time off (PTO) Medical and dental insurance Retirement plan options How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the position.
