The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Our Opticians play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience from frame selection through final dispensing. Key Responsibilities Frame styling and personalized eyewear consultations Identifying patients' needs and expectations Utilizing doctor recommendations to enhance the patient's visual experience Troubleshooting visual issues and addressing patient complaints professionally Optical purchasing and merchandising Frame and lens ordering Insurance filing and coordination Lens verification and final dispensing Accurately performing optical measurements (PD, segment height, etc.) Utilizing OfficeMate practice management software Maintaining organized inventory and attractive optical displays Providing exceptional customer service at every interaction Qualifications Minimum 1 year of optician experience required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting Knowledge of lens products, coatings, and frame lines Experience with vision plans such as VSP and Eyemed is a plus Experience with OfficeMate preferred State licensure (if applicable) Why Join Cary Vision Care?
