JOB DUTIES
Provide personalized service to patients, helping them select frames and lenses that best meet their prescription needs and style preferences Apply consultative selling techniques that showcase the premium experience that sets us apart from chains and big box retailers Perform precise measurements, adjustments, and fittings to ensure optimal comfort and vision Conduct quality control checks on all eyewear before dispensing to verify prescription accuracy and adherence to our elevated optical standards Educate patients about their prescriptions, lens options, and the relationship between quality products and long-term vision health Process sales transactions and maintain detailed patient records Order and dispense contact lenses and trials as prescribed by the Optometrist, ensuring proper patient education on wear and care Support front desk operations and optometry technician duties as needed in our small office environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frame styling, and optical dispensing Knowledge of contact lens handling, dispensing protocols, and patient education Proven track record in optical sales with the ability to meet and exceed targets Passionate about eyewear trends and knowledgeable about independent and designer frame brands An exceptional communicator who can build trust quickly and articulate the value of a boutique optical experience Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment Customer-focused with a genuine desire to help people see and look their best Adaptable and willing to support various office functions in a small team environment Takes pride in representing a distinguished independent practice rather than a corporate chain Why Join Us?
