Eyewear Stylist / Apprentice Optician

You'll combine fashion, healthcare, styling, and customer experience while helping people feel more confident every day. You'll work with unique independent eyewear brands, learn specialized optical skills, and build lasting relationships with customers who trust your recommendations and personal style advice. What You'll Do Help customers choose eyewear that fits their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone Learn frame adjustments, fittings, measurements, and troubleshooting Educate customers on lenses, coatings, and contact lens options Guide patients through insurance benefits and pricing Accurately place orders and schedule appointments using our computer systems Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming showroom Perform vision tests and interview patients to prepare them for their eye exam Create a fun, personalized experience customers can't wait to share Build genuine relationships with customers and become a trusted style and eyewear advisor What We're Looking For We'd love to meet someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and confident talking with people Fashion-conscious with a strong sense of personal style Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Motivated, curious, and eager to learn Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented Naturally service-oriented and excited to help people feel their best Experience We Value We're especially interested in candidates with experience in: Customer service Fashion or luxury retail Hospitality or restaurant work Boutique environments Hair salons or beauty industry experience Eyewear or optical experience (a major plus, but not required) People who thrive here often come from customer-facing roles where personality, style, and service matter. No optical experience? No problem. We provide hands-on training and mentorship from experienced opticians.
