Position:
Optometric Coordinator
  • Front Desk & Optical Sales Part-Time What You'll Do:
  • Patient Engagement:
    Be the first point of contact for patients, making them feel welcome and supported. Assist with appointment scheduling and check-ins at our reception.
  • Eyewear Consultation & Fitting:
    Learn to fit, dispense, and sell spectacle lenses, ensuring patients find eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences.
  • Patient Education:
    Provide insights into eye health, contact lens care, and our optical services.
  • Record Management:
    Maintain accurate records in our EMR system and assist with insurance submissions.
  • Clinic Support:
    Help maintain a clean, safe clinic environment, following all infection control protocols.

Community Outreach:
Help promote our services within Omaha's Latino community.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): Essential for clear communication with our diverse patient base.
  • Customer-Centric:
    Passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences.
  • Education:
    Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience:
    Background in customer service, ideally in a healthcare or optical setting.
  • Team-Oriented:
    Works well in a close-knit team focused on exceptional patient care.

Open to learning new skills in optical sales and patient care.
