This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, friendly, and motivated to learn. The right candidate will enjoy both patient interaction and hands-on technical work in our finishing lab, including lens edging and assembly. Non-licensed candidates welcome — training provided Key Responsibilities Assist patients in choosing frames and lens options based on prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences Provide excellent customer service during the eyewear selection and fitting process Take measurements for lens fitting (PD, segment height, etc.) Verify orders and inspect eyewear upon arrival for accuracy and quality Perform adjustments, repairs, and cleanings as needed Educate patients on proper eyewear care and lens benefits Support front desk or technician team as needed (cross-training available) Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing optical area Edge, mount, and finish lenses using in-office equipment Ordering contact lenses and submitting vision claims. Qualifications Previous experience in optical, retail, or customer service preferred Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills Detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability Comfortable learning new software and technologies Spanish is preferred. Schedule Monday - Friday only (No weekends!) Typical hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Please send resume as attachment if you are interested in the position.
