OPTICIAN
to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of eye care and vision correction, along with excellent customer service skills. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients select the right eyewear and ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
NYS Optician License Required Sales and Customer Service:
Drive sales by assisting customers in selecting eyewear, promoting special offers, and additional products or services. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Greeting patients and explaining benefits and allowances during check-in. Assisting patients in browsing frames and providing recommendations. Collaborating on sales strategies with other team members to increase both glasses and contact lens sales. Performing cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
General Operations Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies regarding patient confidentiality, safety, and sanitation. Manage inventory levels and ordering of optical supplies, ensuring adequate stock for daily operations.
Vision Claims & Billing:
Oversee the processing of vision insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in documentation and billing. If you are passionate about helping others improve their vision and have the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as an Optician.
