Overview Selima Optique is seeking Licensed Opticians to join our team. Responsibilities include delivering personalized service, driving sales, and helping cultivate the high luxury retail experience. Ideal candidates should have optical retail sales experience and a passion for eyewear/fashion. This position offers competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Optician located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Licensed Optician will support customers in selecting appropriate eyewear and ensure optimum vision and style. Daily responsibilities include assisting with frame fittings, providing optical advice, and collaborating with optometrists to address customers' vision needs. Ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service are key priorities in this role. Qualifications Proficiency in optics and understanding of optometry practices Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills Experience with performing basic eye exams and working directly with clients to meet their vision needs Knowledge of high-quality designer eyewear and current trends in the optical industry Attention to detail and ability to make personalized recommendations Valid certification as an Optician or similar qualification is required Experience in luxury eyewear sales is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Join us as a Licensed Optician where your skills will directly enhance patient outcomes while supporting a vibrant retail experience .
