Optician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Optician to join our eyecare team! We are currently a 4-person optical team working alongside 6 optometrists in a private practice setting that is dedicated to providing excellent eye health care, glasses, and contacts for our beloved patients. Our opticians enjoy the autonomy of private practice eyecare in a state of the art optical showroom. Each optician has the freedom to fit lenses and frames unique to our patients' individual style and needs. We are open to hiring a licensed optician or training the right candidate through optical apprenticeship. Eyecare or optical experience preferred. Pay rate based on industry experience. Strong monthly bonuses guaranteed in addition to hourly pay. Duties Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear by understanding their needs, preferences, and prescriptions. Fit, dispense, troubleshoot and adjust eyeglasses Lens edging, frame adjustments and repairs Submit lens, frame and contact orders with vendors and insurance

Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
