The full-time position is 4 days per week and some Saturdays (9am-1pm) or part-time if that's desired. A full-time optician is preferable but part-time is acceptable. One year of optical experience is required and you must have a positive, team attitude. Broad View Eye Center:

Assisting patients with eye wear selection Educating patients on lens design and lens options (AR treatments, materials, progressive designs) Collecting payment, ordering and submitting the claim for glasses and contacts to insurance accurately Adjustment and repair of glasses Dispensing of new glasses Answering phones, scheduling appointments Checking in eyewear, including neutralizing glasses on lensometer, checking seg height and PD Arranging frames in the dispensary Required skills include: Using a lensometer Understanding how to interpret vision insurance benefits (Eyemed, VSP, Spectera and Davis Vision) Taking basic lens measurements (PD, seg. Height, etc.) Frame repair and adjustment Having a positive attitude and team player
