Dispensing Optician 2357 NE Conners Avenue, Bend, OR 97701 From $23.50 an hour - Full-time From $23.50 an hour - Full-time Bend Ophthalmology is looking for an Optician in Bend, OR.

Job Summary:

The Optician is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a comprehensive optical service program that is focused on patient care. The Optician will work with patients to provide quality eye care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient/customer care and will be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

Provide patient care that meets or exceeds patients' expectations. Ensure that all patients receive personalized, compassionate, and timely eye care. Ensure that all patients are informed of new services, new products, or changes in the facility and are updated on industry trends. ABO and/or NCLE certification a plus. Previous optical experience as well as inventory/retail knowledge a must. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Optician in an eye care facility preferred. Computer skills required for job requirements. Lensometry knowledge, frame styling, lens and coating selection knowledge. Knowledge of computerized ophthalmology software a plus.
