Optician - Part Time Today's Vision 242 - Conroe, TX Part-Time | Expanding Team | Small Practice Environment About Us Today's Vision 242 is a growing, doctor-owned optometry practice in Conroe, TX. We're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a warm, modern setting. As our practice continues to grow, we're excited to expand our small, close-knit team. We're looking for a friendly and experienced Optician to join us in providing personalized vision care and an outstanding patient experience. What You'll Do Help patients select frames that fit their prescription, style, and lifestyle Fit and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses for comfort and clarity Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care Accurately enter orders and maintain patient records Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing/coding Maintain an organized, welcoming optical space Work closely with the optometrist and team to ensure seamless patient care Stay current with new products, styles, and optical technology What We're Looking For Previous optical or optometry office experience required Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge of vision insurance and EHR systems is a plus Team player who thrives in a supportive, small-office setting Enthusiasm for building patient relationships and providing quality care What You'll Love Join a brand-new, beautifully designed office Be part of a supportive, collaborative team that's expanding with the practice Play an important role in shaping the patient experience Growth opportunities as the practice continues to develop No corporate red tape—just quality care and teamwork Schedule Part-time opportunity with potential to grow into full time No late evenings Half-day Saturdays Compensation & Perks Competitive pay (based on experience) Bonus potential Employee eyewear discounts
