Optician

This well established, family-oriented Optometric practice seeks a happy, self-motivated Optician to join our family, continue our practice growth and community service. Most of our staff has been with us for decades and we hope the same for our next candidate! We love what we do and are looking for a Team member that feels enthusiastic about all aspects of running an optical: from picking frames and frame-lines, selling glasses and dealing with patients, ordering glasses and lenses and following up with orders, cutting lenses, learning about different lenses and options. The ideal candidate will be organized and hard working. They will also have experience and will be proficient with running an Optical. They must also share a willingness to cross-train and be multi-faceted to facilitate office flow and efficiency. We have a a small percentage of Hispanic patients that only speak Spanish, so being bilingual is a definite plus. You must be a personality that makes people feel comfortable and confident about your skills, opinions and recommendations. We are well established (over 50 years old!) and have a very loyal patient base. Much of our staff has also been with us for decades! We take care of our people Salary will be discussed at the interview and will depend on experience
