Lone Star Vision is a premier optometry practice in Plano, Texas seeking an optician who enjoys working with patients, provides exceptional customer service and can work well with our fantastic optical team. A Lone Star Vision Sales Optician is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. The ideal candidate for this position has prior experience in optical customer service and sales, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of multi-tasking effectively. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/services and managed vision care. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm, position with one Saturday 9am -2pm a month required. Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand patient preferences and requirements. Educate patients about different types of lenses, frames, and lens coatings. Provide styling advice and recommendations to enhance patients looks and comfort. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor. Keep up-to-date with the latest eyewear trends, products, and technology. Collaborate with the optometrists and lab team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism. Participate in inventory management and restocking as needed.
