Optical Assistant

Eye Physicians of Southwest Virginia, a multi-office ophthalmic and optometric practice located in southwest Virginia, currently has a position open in our optical dispensary, working in our Abingdon, VA office. The candidate must be an energetic, self-motivated, and dependable individual with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

The position would also require:

Basic optical knowledge A strong fashion sense Strong organization skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Obtaining insurance authorizations and filing claims Ability to multitask Must work well with others

Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School diploma or General Education Degree. Minimum of one year experience in an optical dispensary.
