  • Volvo Parkway General Job Description & Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all patients are receiving the best quality of care at all times.
Primary responsibilities include:
Review Physician's prescriptions and orders based on medical charts Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences with a basic understanding of lens fundamentals. Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients' specific needs and desires Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety Measure and fit eyeglasses properly. Perform basic adjustments and repairs of eyewear. Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits Experience & Skills Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical to this role. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience and: Good organizational and multitasking abilities Coachable-open to feedback and continual improvement Willingness to learn and develop new skills Flexible and adaptable Professional phone and office etiquette required Optical experience is preferred but not necessary-we will train the right person Other Duties & Information Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
