Optician/Frame Stylist

Our Office is open Monday-Friday - no evenings and weekends . We are conveniently located in a safe, clean, professional building. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience . Looking for an experienced, friendly full-time Optician/frame stylist for a wonderful, private optometric practice located in Colonial Heights, VA. The ideal candidate would have the following knowledge and skills:

• Motivated, professional, responsible, organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker
• Knowledgeable of eyewear, and lens options
• Good communication skills with a friendly personality.
• Experience with various insurance and vision plans
• Experience in interfacing with lens labs, frames ordering, inventory, etc.
• Basic computer skills such as data entry Duties will include
• Helping patients select eyeglasses given knowledge of their insurance coverage
• Taking accurate frame and lens measurements
• Ordering the selected glasses and contacts
• Dispensing and adjusting eyewear
• Insurance and Benefit explanation
• Creating an exceptional customer experience
• Assisting the optometrist as needed Experience preferred, but not required.

Willing to train the right person. Must have a friendly personality with sales ability! National certification available.
