Duties Assist patients in selecting eyewear that fits their style, needs, and prescription requirements Take precise measurements of pupillary distance, frame fit, and lens prescriptions to ensure optimal visual correction Prepare and verify eyewear orders using optical equipment and laboratory experience to ensure accuracy Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Skills Experience with optical systems, laboratory procedures, and medical billing practices Familiarity with EMR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently Excellent retail sales skills combined with retail math proficiency to support product recommendations and sales goals Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and senior care clients Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and data security at all times Knowledge of medical coding related to vision care services for accurate billing and documentation Join us in delivering top-tier eye care by combining technical expertise with compassionate service.
