Our Optician/Contact Lens Support Specialist team is integral to the support and service of our patients and our continued business growth. We're a friendly, customer-focused optometry practice looking for a team player who is energetic, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. About the Role This position combines traditional optical dispensing with contact lens support, offering a varied and rewarding workday. Your Responsibilities Optician Duties Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle and prescription. Take accurate frame and lens measurements. Adjust, fit, and repair eyewear. Educate patients on lens options and eyewear care. Deliver an outstanding customer experience from start to finish. Contact Lens Support Assist with contact lens fittings and follow-up appointments. Teach new wearers how to insert, remove, and care for their contact lenses. Order and manage contact lens inventory. Schedule contact lens appointments and maintain patient records. Support the optometrist with clinical and administrative tasks related to contact lenses. What We're Looking For Experience as an optician, optical dispenser, or contact lens assistant preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
